  • Maintain a functional website, and be an incorporated company that was established within the past 2 years.
  • During the application process, provide details of at least any two of developer, founder, c-suite or sales contacts.
  • Your start-up must be privately held. It is not a personal blog, dev shop, consultancy, agency, bitcoin, or crypto mining company.

  • What is the GreenFutures Accelerator program? 

    GreenFutures is SMC’s accelerator program that brings people, knowledge, and GPU resources to jointly accelerate AI development sustainably.

    The GreenFutures consists of the Accelerator and Catalyst programs. The Accelerator focuses on incubating early-stage start-ups to begin and grow their AI journey. The Catalyst propels later-stage start-ups to scale up and accelerate sales.

  • Who should apply to the GreenFutures program?

    The GreenFutures Accelerator aims for Pre-Series A to Series A start-ups. We are looking for start-ups using AI/ML with a commitment to drive environmentally sustainable solutions.

    Start-ups should be past the idea stage with a minimum viable product (MVP) with their offering.

    The GreenFutures Catalyst focuses on post-Series A scale-ups with customer validation and market traction with their product and service.

    The applicants should have a dedicated AI lead within the team.

  • What are the criteria for eligibility?

    Your organization must have an AI lead and at least one developer. The founding team should also demonstrate that they have the technical skills, business skills, and mindset to grow and scale a company in this region. Your organization must be privately held, maintain a functional website, and be an incorporated company established within the past two years.

    Personal blogs, dev shops, consultancy, agencies, bitcoin, or crypto mining companies are not eligible for the GreenFutures program.

  • What is the format of the program? 

    It is a hybrid program consisting of virtual and online events. The program will run for 12 weeks. Please check online the dates for the next cohort.

  • Do you take equity to be part of this program? 

    No, we do not take any equity. All you need to contribute is your time and energy.

  • What support do you offer? 

    Early-stage start-ups enrolled in the GreenFutures Accelerator program benefit from free block access of GPU compute resources, NVIDIA training, and SDK access.

    Scale-ups enrolled in the GreenFutures Catalyst program receive preferred pricing on GPU compute, network access, and storage.
